Jay Brooks and Jim McClymont formed Brookmont Construction Services, LLC, in May of 2009 after purchasing the majority of the assets from Harris Services.  Our team has over 100 years of construction experience and is dedicated to keeping the best interest of our clients as our top priority.  This is possible by maintaining open communication, providing unsurpassed quality, and meeting tight deadlines all while staying within our client’s budget.

Jay Brooks – Principal

External Operations/Business Development

Jay, a graduate from the University of Kansas, has spent considerable time in sales and project management.  This experience has allowed him to further refine his relationship with customers and understand the proper routes to successful projects.

He has worked many years with a  local commercial construction firm and utilized his customer relations skill set in the market sectors of Industrial, Office, Retail, and Hospitality. Spending time in these sectors has given Jay the opportunity  to become extremely knowledgeable in Preconstruction Services and Project Management.

Jay’s ability to relate to customers as well as understand the finer details associated with commercial construction allow him to provide excellent service to all patrons.

Jim McClymont – Principal

Internal Operations/Business Development

Jim graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.  He quickly found his way into Sprint’s Internal Audit division in February of 1999.  He spent 3.5 years learning the intricacies of Corp. America before spending the next 3.5 years providing Financial Decision Support for the build out and merger of Sprint/Nextel networks.

In the Spring of 2006, Jim had the opportunity to follow his passion in Commercial Real Estate Development and Construction by joining a local commercial construction firm.  During his next 3 years he provided financial support, performed value engineering, worked on public incentive work, and supported the design of several mixed-use development projects as well as acquired his Real Estate License.  He also had the opportunity to be highly involved in construction finance.

The Spring of 2009 Jim and Jay decided to pursue a business of their own and formed Brookmont Construction Services, LLC.   Using Jay’s Construction Experience and Jim’s Internal Operations knowledge the two look to drive an innovative customer driven company.
